Research & Publications
I am a sociocultural & computational linguist who uses qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods. My research studies languages and the people who speak them.
Teaching
I have taught courses in English, Japanese, Interdisciplinary Studies, General Linguistics, Pedagogy & Professionalism, Phonetics, and Sociocultural Linguistics since my teaching debut in 2015.
Advocacy, Leadership & Service
I was highly involved in student activism, mentorship, and graduate student life during my PhD at UC Santa Barbara. These days, I serve the people of California at the California Department of Justice.
